Islander Estate Vineyards was established by Jacques Lurton (of the Bordeaux Lurtons) on Kangaroo Island. This island is famous for its eco-tourism, which brought both Jacques and Yale to its shores. Yale Norris, who was born and raised in Boulder, CO, manages the vineyards and all operations of the wine business today.
